About Frack Free Lancashire

Frack Free Lancashire (FFL) is part of an expanding national movement that opposes the development and extraction of shale gas worldwide.

Our mission is to protect our environment for our children and for future generations. Taking action now will safeguard the health and wellbeing of our communities from the effects of air pollution, water contamination, seismic movement and toxic & radioactive waste.

The anti-fracking movement is growing in strength. Hundreds of localised groups have developed across the UK over the last five years and communities have come together in solidarity to form their own anti-fracking groups.

Frack Free Lancashire members are happy to support new groups around Lancashire, who form to oppose fracking in their locality. Please contact us for help and information.

We are also happy to help and support at local events organised by groups. We can supply merchandise and leaflets.

Sheffield Against Fracking had a stall at Sharrow Fair. Anne Fielding from RAFF took them some RAFF leaflets. Anne said she was very impressed by their set up. Their volunteers, just delivering to their own street, had covered a large area of Sheffield. They made Anne very welcome!
